This is a fully functional Hirayama HAST PC-422R8 Highly Accelerated Stress Test System chamber in excellent cosmetic and working condition. This PC-422R8 is designed to perform both saturated and unsaturated accelerated humidity/temperature/pressure stress testing under a temperature range 105.0 -150.0 °C, humidity range of 65%RH – 100%RH, and pressure range of 0.019 – 0.208 MPa.

This HAST chamber is easy to use with color touch panel /screen integrates various button operations and displays for monitor, graph display, mode setting, program setting, test name. Different temperature, humidity, and pressure conditions have been tested, including commonly used settings such as 121°C / 100% RH (Autoclave), 130°C / 85% RH (HAST/BIAS, UHAST). This chamber has two control methods installed, HUM / Unsaturation control and STD / Saturation control. The unsaturation control mode prevents dew condensation and can set the humidity at any value between 65%RH and 100%RH that meets the test conditions defined in IEC 60068-2-66 and JIS C 60068-2-66. Saturation control, also called wet saturation test, is a 100%RH saturation test mode with humidity maintained at 100%RH from a start.

The PC-422R8 system has three exhaust modes (slow cooling with humidity maintained mode, cooling with moisture kept mode, and rapid exhaust mode) and two operation modes (fixed-value operation and programmed operation).

20 voltage application terminals are arranged on the inner face of the door. Connection work with specimens at a voltage application test is executed outside of the chamber. The RS232C port is used as the communication interface for centralized monitoring and centralized control. In addition, an electric clamp system with high safety performance is used for door locking and release.
