This is a fully functional Thermotron F-4-CHA-1-1 Temperature Altitude Chamber in excellent cosmetic and working condition. This altitude chamber is designed to simulate altitudes up to 100,000 ft (8.28 torr) with a temperature of -73 °C to +177 °C, ideal for military, aerospace, automotive, electronics, and other industrial applications.
This 4 Cu.ft. / 113 L chamber has an interior workspace of 20”W x 20”D x 20”H and an exterior dimensions of 32”W x 34”D x 82”H. It uses 208V, 1PH, 60Hz power with a Max load of 33A.
This chamber has a very strong refrigeration system with temperature cooling to -73 °C rapidly. The vacuum system is in excellent condition. The thermal control system (heating/cooling) and vacuum system are designed to operate concurrently.
The testing standards that this chamber is capable of include MIL-STD-810 (Methods 500 / 501 / 502), RTCA DO-160 (Sections 4 & 5), IEC 60068-2-13, and NASA GEVS (screening level).
The following simulated testing conditions have been performed:
- 50,000 ft (87 Torr) @ +85 °C
- 80,000 ft (21 Torr) @ –40 °C
- 100,000 ft (9 Torr) @ +125 °C
- Sea level (760 Torr) @ –73 °C
