This is a fully functional Thermotron SM-8-7800 Temperature/Humidity Test Chamber (-68C to +177C, 20% to 95% R.H., 8 cu.ft.) in excellent cosmetic and working conditions. This environmental chamber has been very well maintained and just fully tested and validated by our engineer. The chamber’s temperature cooling rate, heating rate, and the temperature/humidity tolerance are within manufacturer’s specifications. The chamber has a temperature range of -68 oC to +177 oC and humidity range from 20% to 95% R.H. Different temperatures with different humidity levels were tested in accordance with certain IEC criteria, including the most used temperature humidity conditions: 40C / 65%RH, 65C / 95%RH, 85C / 85% RH, -68C, -40C, 25C, 120C, and 150C. The chamber is a complete ready-to-use system with everything needed for a lab testing operation. Technical support will be provided to the buyer for the initial applications, if requested.
Thermotron SM-8-7800 is controlled by a user-friendly two-channel 7800 Programmer/Controller that is a programmable microcomputer. The user can program the 7800 to automatically operate the chamber, or can manually operate the chamber using the 7800 front panel keyboard and display, or operate the 7800 from a host computer. Channel 1 senses the chamber temperature using a dry bulb thermocouple input. Its output controls the heating and cooling systems. Channel 2 senses the chamber humidity. Its output controls the humidity system’s steam generator and dehumidify coil.
The chamber uses 208V, 3Ph, 60HZ power. The operator's electronic manuals for both the chamber and the controller will be provided. New DI water cartridge is installed.
